Wolf watching day 1

This is a pretty big deal. I am spending the weekend in Yellowstone with my friend, Heather. She drove up from Jackson to do some wolf watching and I decided to join her.

We met in Livingston on Friday and caravaned down to the park (park roads were closed due to snow, forcing her to drive around). Right away we saw pronghorn, bighorn sheep, elk and bison.

We drove along the northern range to Cooke City, checked into our motel and had some pizza at the Miner bar.

My moose, Chuck, checks out the pronghorn.
