Let’s wrap these roadtrip posts up, shall we?
On our last morning we had a leisurely breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes (we ate these a lot, but it’s camping, so what the heck?). Then we took our time packing up the truck and rolled out of Aspenglen at 10 a.m.

We drove down to Boulder–oh my goodness, it’s huge!–to meet some friends from high school. I missed my *gasp* 20th high school reunion this summer, instead opting to spend the weekend hiding from mosquitoes, but I did get to see two high school friends.
Neither of them live in Boulder, but they both agreed to meet us there so we wouldn’t have to drive too far out of our way. Kyle brought his wife and two adorable girls the day of the little one’s birthday party, and Tim drove a couple hours to get there, so I was really honored that they all made the trip.
And it was so great to see them.

We met at a playground and the boys were tuckered out by the time we left, so we had a pretty pleasant drive to Casper, Wyo. A night at the Super 8 and then on to Montana. It was so nice to be home.
