After my ski up Bighorn Pass I continued on to West Yellowstone to meet Heather. Since it was Presidents’ Day weekend, the place was overrun with snowmobilers. We may have been the only Nordic skiers in town. Luckily, we knew just where to go.

After the ski from town to Bakers Hole campground, we walked to Wild West pizza for dinner. We were two of four women in the bar, but we ate enough calzone for 10 women. Yum.

The next day we drove a bit west along the north shore of Hebgen Lake. It was a perfect day–sunshine, bluebird skies and fresh snow.
