Too late for a reef job

This post may contain compensated links. Find more info in my disclaimer.

Tourism Queensland was hiring an Island Caretaker–the best job in the world. Basically, this person plays around and above the Great Barrier Reef and writes a weekly blog. They represent Tourism Queensland at events. This person lives on Hamilton Island for 6 months and gets paid $150,000 Australian dollars.

34,000 people applied.

Henry and I made a video application. We procrastinated until the last minute and as we were uploading the video the job closed. So, no reef job for me.

The video should be seen anyway.

  1. They missed out. Clearly they should have opened up the selection process again. How could they resist hiring you, Rigby and of course the family:-)
