Pine Creek Falls

Finn drinks from the river with our new Life Straw. More to come on that…

The rivers are high and the creeks are raging. After a very warm and dry late-May that melted a lot of snow in the mountains, we are seeing water everywhere. And now the typical June rain is wetting our afternoons and adding to the full waterways.

It’s the perfect time to check out some of our favorite waterfalls.

We joined my friend Dawn, along with Meemaw, Kale, Sassy, and baby Boo (how do you like those names?) ;), for a walk to Pine Creek Falls.

It rained, it thundered, we had three generations and a dog, but we made it to the falls. Everything was green and glistening, the falls were huge, everyone was wet (except the baby), wildflowers bloomed, and birds sang. It was lovely.
