Norris Geyser Basin hot springsA few weeks ago my little brother paid us a visit. We saw Willie Nelson in Big Sky, toured Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone and played in the house. We had planned to go to the sheep run, but it was pouring rain so we stayed home.

Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest, most acidic, and most changeable thermal area in Yellowstone. It is home to the tallest geyser in the world (which rarely erupts), colorful hot springs, fumaroles, and microscopic life.

  1. I’m impressed that you are wearing a skirt while your children are nearby. I have banned skirts from my wardrobe whilst I take care of small children. I’m always bending over, sitting on the ground, leaping, reaching, piggy-back-ride-giving, slide-riding, and all sorts of other things that are not conducive to skirt-wearing. You have a couple of helpers you can delegate childcare tasks to in these pictures, and I’m assuming that’s what made it all possible.
