Last weekend I cooked up a couple quiches, baked a lemon shortcake and banana bread pudding, cut up some watermelon (well, Henry cut the watermelon). We packed up the boys and all their accouterments and drove over to Ennis to celebrate Mother’s Day with Mogie.
We ate, talked, rode Sam (the horse), played in the dirt pile and had a wonderful time.

Mother’s Day chocolate from my friend Judy. As yummy as pretty.

Anders carries grain out of the barn.

Watching Big H saddle Sam.

Cowpolks in Big Sky Country.

Happy on horseback.

All smiles on the trail.

Little Finny one-leg.
My memories of Ennis from my childhood are listening to M*A*S*H and Threes Comapny re-runs on the radio with my Dad while he worked on the road for John Deere.
