Last Sunday Anders, Finn and I went to Montana Grizzly Encounter on Bozeman Pass.

We went one other time when Anders looked like this.

At about a month old, baby Anders spent the visit in my jacket.

Brutus in the snow.

A bit of info about the place.

All of our bears were born in unfortunate captive situations and could NEVER be released into the wild. The bears have been rescued from often inhumane captive situations all over the U.S.

We give the bears the best possible life here at the sanctuary. We also give people an opportunity to see and understand this awesome creature, up close. The bears have become ambassadors for their wild cousins. While at our sanctuary, it is our hope that visitors will leave with an appreciation, understanding, and passion to preserve the grizzly bear and its habitat.

Brutus now.

Sheena and Brutus in their habitat.
