Getting to Glacier

We went to Glacier National Park a week or so ago and had a great time. It’s taking me awhile to get the photos up because we came back to Livingston Round-up 4th of July celebrations, plus getting back to work and washing more clothes than you would think four people could go through in a week. Plus, Finn cries all the time and is up half the night, so that really takes the motivation out of you.

Anyway, back to the trip. It’s about six hours from here to Many Glacier–one of the areas in Glacier N.P. It took us a little longer since we made a couple stops, but it was a pretty mellow drive overall.

A meeting of the minds at our lunch stop in Augusta.

We love almond butter and peach jam sammies.

We were drawn to the rodeo arena by the tractor smoothing out the dirt in preparation for the big Augusta Rodeo happening the next day. We enjoyed climbing the stairs and watching someone ride around after the tractor left. We couldn’t have planned a better stop.

Horseback watching.

We’re getting closer to the mountains and Chuck and Bjorn are getting excited.
