This is my favorite art project of the season. Actually, it’s the only one we’ve done so far, but I think it would still be my favorite if I had others to compare it to. Maybe not; it’s hard to say….
The reason I loved this project is a) that we incorporated an after dinner walk (led by Henry) and b) the boys really dig gluing things.
The idea was to draw a tree trunk and branches, then glue leaves to the branches. It sort of happened. The secret agenda was to look closely at the different leaves in our neighborhood, to notice the various shapes and colors.
Mission accomplished.
