We had a full day on Easter, and of course took a ton of pictures. This post covers the first part of the day.
We got up early (per Anders and Finn). While the boys played with dad I went for a run with a friend. It was the first day of my get-back-in-shape plan. It was painful.
When I got back we went to the Northern Pacific Beanery for Easter brunch. It was yummy.
Anders prepares his silverware at brunch.
Finn is so hungry he’s forced to chew on the table.
One of the best things about eating at the Beanery is that you get to watch the train go by right outside the window.
H teases Finn with a delicious jam-covered biscuit.
Anders shares his breakfast with me.
Anders points to the train outside the restaurant.
He makes sure I see the tanker cars.
Checking out the twigs and rocks.
After brunch we came out and checked out what the Easter bunny brought. Anders got art supplies and a sunhat, Finn got a onesie and Henry got treats.
The Easter bunny hands out baskets.
Easter baskets for the three boys.
Anders is psyched to find markers.
Finn checks out his basket.
Anders tries on his new sun hat. A bit big.
A onesie appropriate for Finn.
Henry shows off his peanut butter nuggets.
Anders’ chalk art decorates our driveway.
Artist at work.
Why finger paint when you can use your whole hand?
After the chalk art and painting it was time to try the markers.
We pulled out the art supplies and did several projects. Then it was time for the Easter egg hunt. Stayed tuned.
